"Nadine, what's wrong?" Velina asked suddenly when she noticed the sudden change of expression on her little sister's face out of nowhere.
She was certainly worried about her, looking at her pale face.
"Uh? Oh, there is nothing wrong, sis," Nadine responded, as she brought back to reality when her sister called her name out. Nadine scratched the back of her neck awkwardly.
However, even if she said so, Velina still stared at her carefully, disbelief written all over her face now.
"I just feel like an idiot and outrageous, because I used to think that... I was being abandoned by my family, that you guys did not care for me…" Nadine confessed what was been bothering her to her only sister.
She looked down, did not dare to look at Velina.
Velina smiled, deep inside, she was the one who felt ashamed of herself, that she made her little sister even had that kind of thought now.
