"The sight of blood. It's a familiar sight, of something we know well and embraced dearly close within our fleshy mushy bodies. It continues on flowing and working throughout skin, flesh, and bones… twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week… making sure that we survive the day by carrying important things to make sure we do survive the day. It gives us Life in essence; in essence, it too can become an obvious sign that we are hurt. But is it blood though the reason behind 'we are hurting'? Is it why the sight of blood so grosses us? Even though it gives us Life and keeps us alive by telling us that we are hurting; in essence, blood is the good guy here… is the good guy here…
