I sighed as I saw the look on her face. I knew something was wrong and she was acting weird but I knew I couldn't tell her I knew why.
I recognized Megan almost immediately the first time I saw her but I pretended to buy the whole allergy bullshit.
Vikky was safe when it came to eating, there was no way she wouldn't notice she was eating something she was allergic to. What bothered me even more was the fact that she went along with it. I had to distance myself from her so I could focus on my operation but also so I wouldn't say something really stupid to her. Like the truth.
I knew exactly who Megan worked for but what I wanted to know was what the fuck Vikky was doing with her.
Had she gotten herself involved with this life without knowing?
