"You coming or what mind freak?"
I groggily pushed myself of the ground and followed bakugo through the crowded halls. A variety of animals littered the halls today and a lot of heads turned to us as we walked by with our signature scowls.
Bakugo must have noticed everyone staring because he raised his head and released an intimidating roar. All the students jumped back. I felt a tail poke me from next to me and I looked over to see bakugo nodding.
Taking the hint, I raised my hind into the air and leaped forward with a deadly roar. As I rose, bakugo walked past me with a smug grin.
What's he so happy about? That's when I noticed all the animals in the halls had their heads bowed and we're kneeling with respect to us.
"....bakugo...? What are they doing?" I asked very confused.
"Dipshit. They're submitting to us and have a knowledge we are the alphas." He said proudly still strutting down the halls taking a left.
"We? Why us though?" I kind of knew the answer bur wanted to make sure.
"Well we are the strongest animals roaming these halls so they know not to mess with us or our mates." He said non-chalantly.
Mates?! Does that mean he does have a mate? If it's anyone it's definetly that kirishima rachat.
Before I could ask him anymore about it he stopped in front of a double door and barged in with a snarl. I followed soon after to see our class still in animal form in a line.
"There you are. Hurry up and stand in the line." Aizawa snapped, his red eyes glowing.
I sluggishly sauntered over to the line. I stood in between denki and Bakugo.
The wolf looked ecstatic to see me and was about to say something when he was pat on the shoulder by deku.
I didn't listen in on their conversation because I'm not Bakugo so I turned my head back to Aizawa.
"Okay so today we are going to be training in your animal form. You need to partner up in groups of two and pair you self up with another pair."
I turned my head to ask denki when I was face to face with a small green cyote. His tongue was poking out and his green eyes were filled with excitement and nervousness.
"H-hey shinsou..." he stuttered.
"Hey deku." I said looking over his shoulder to see denki sitting with mina, his head hanging down. She had her wing around him and was saying something which I couldn't make out.
"S-so....wanna t-team u-up?" He asked staring at his feet.
"Well not really..." I stated looking over to see all of the bakusquad already pared up.
With a sigh I said:
"...but okay." His eyes filled with joy as he jumped around the place giggling. Kam- uh denki usually does that and it's cute but it's just annoying with deku.
"Okay hurry up. We need to find a pair." I said with a growl to let him know I'm agitated.
Denki and walked over and flashed a quick smile before asking us if we wanted to pair.
"Sero-kun why aren't you paired up with your girlfriend?" Deku asked innocently pointing his paw to mina.
The squirrel jumped onto denkis back and said...
"Well I wanted to pair up with my bud since he couldn't partner up with who he actually wanted to." He said patting denkis head.
I felt a pang of something in my chest which made me growl deeply at them, earning some stares.
"Bro...? What's wrong?"
I managed to stop the growling but the urge to push that squirrel of my denkis head was overwhelming.
"Whatever. Let's start." I quickly darted over go the arena where we would be fighting and stood beside deku.
"I want to go after denki-kun-" deku said with a malicious snarl.
"No. He's mine-" I said, quickly noticing how that said and earning a snarl from the cyote beside me.
"Not like that deku. He's a wolf and your a tiny cyote. He'd easily crush you and I'm not wasting my time on a tiny squirrel. I want competition." I said as I hunched my shoulders, made my head get closer to the ground and raised my hind ready to pounce.
Deku didn't get time to answer as aizawa blew a whistle allowing me to leap forward and charge at denki.
The Wolf snapped his eyes to me and snarled playfully. I charged forward and lunged at his, baring my fangs at him. He saw me coming and ducked underneath and slid below me. I landed on the ground behind me my claws making a screeching noise against the ground.
The patter of claws behind me filled my ears as I instinctively leapt to the side and turned around. I saw the cyote on the wolf's back with its teeth sinking into its neck.
I thought I told deku to go after sero ffs.
Denki swung around causing deku to go flying of his back with a thud.
"YES DENKI HAHA NERD!" Everyone stopped their fight to watch ours and people began to cheer us on.
In the corner of my eye I saw a small brown blob attempting to dart over to denki. I snapped my paws onto the ground shaking it causing the squirrel to fall on its face. I growled and picked up the squirrel between my teeth. It struggled to get out of my grasp but failed. It eventually went limp in surrender and I dropped him as he scurried over to his friends as a failure.
I focused my attention on the Wolf and cyote battling. Deku didn't stand a chance but he still kept going.
"DEKU! BACK OF YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE!" I roared loud enough for the whole room to hear. The cyote snapped his head to me with a sad look in his eyes. He wasn't paying attention to the wolf beside him lifting his paw and slicing it through the air.
I charged towards them and lunged at denki but not before he sliced through dekus skin earning a whimper from deku.
Me and denki rolled around on the floor until I found myself towing over him. Hy paws were next to his head and his were against my chest.
We were both growling and panting as I roared at him to submit. His ears dropped and a small whimpering noise came from his parted mouth as confirmation of his surrender.
Denki attempted to get up but I felt a cold surface boop my nose. It was him...our noses touched-
I quickly leaped off him and he stood up with wide eyes. We glanced at each other and looked away. The wolf rapidly ran to the butterfly who was wizzing around the room screaming and giggling.
I walked over to deku who was laying on the ground with a cut along his neck. I looked at it. It was bad but he should still be able to walk. I've had worse and surely so has he.
"Can you get up deku? You need to go to recovery girls for that. It's not too bad but you should still get it checked out."
He glances up at me and I noticed his green glassy eyes. There were tears rolling down his fluffy cheek and whimpers erupting from his body.
"Uhhh...you...OK?" I asked confused. He's broken every bone in his body and not cried why is he crying over a silly scratch?
"You said I didn't stand a chance hitoshi."
Shit...I mean I was right but I probably should have said it a little nicer.
"Oh...yeah sorry about that I guess? I was trying to warn you but you didn't listen. It's true though. A small cyote like you shouldn't go after a giant Wolf like denks." I said matter of the factly.
He didn't say anything but muzzled into my legs. I was feeling very uncomfortable so I looked around for help.
People were just snickering while the girls awed. I sighed and just stayed frozen. I'm not used to this much touching and I really needed an escape route.
Kaminaris pov:
I really wanted to work with shinsou for the training but deku asked me if he could earlier. Me being me I said sure and had to pair up with shinsou.
Zero had the greatest idea for us to pair with them but I disagreed. The squirrel ran over to them before I could get away so I had to follow.
When we started we made a deal that I would go after shinsou and he'd go for deku. I agreed and we started. I didn't expect shinsou to leap at me straight away but I quickly slid under him while he was soaring through the air. The battle went on and he got distracted with zero.
This is my time to pounce...
I got ready to pounce, arching my back and steadying my paws. What I didn't expect was for a tiny cyote to lung at me from the side. He caught me off guard and landed on my back. There was a sharp pain in my neck and I jumped into the air shaking my fur to get deku off. He went tumbling through the air and crashed into the floor.
I hears shinsou shout that deku didn't stand a chance against me and that really boosted my confidence. I raised my paw and slashed it through the air. I sliced dekus neck and he started to cry. A feeling of accomplishment swelled through my body but before I could attack deku more a felt something knock me off my feet.
Everything was a blur until I stopped rolling. When I opened my eyes I saw a snarling handsome panther leaning over me. Oh God...he's a little too close...even though we were inches apart I made no effort to move. I found myself lost in his violet eyes. I was quickly dragged from my thoughts by the sound of whistling and giggling. I attempted to push of the ground to stand up which resulted in my nose brushing against shinsous.
The feeling was soft and comforting but I know he didn't see it that way. My theories were correct because he quickly jumped away to comfort deku. I scurried over to mina who was giggling until she saw my broken expression. Her eyes flashed from me to the pair. She gasped as she stared at the two.
Wondering what was wrong, I titled my head and saw deku snuggling into shinsous chest like a darn cat. My whole body was filled with a bitter feeling. It was like anger but more.
It flooded through my body along with adrenaline. I growled as I stomped over to bakugo who was shouting with a heavy blush at kirishima.
"SHUT UP SHITTY HA-" he began but he turned his attention to me stomping over. He could probably sense my raging aura as I charged at him.
"Woah what's up with you dunce face?" He asked but kirishima smacked his but into bakugos (basically like elbowing him but with his butt). Bakugo glances behind me and a scowl came to his face.
"I'm going to kill that damn nerd-" he began until i interrupted him.
"Bakugo. Get the squad I need to Vent to someone." I growled between gritted teeth. Bakugo nodded as kirishima ran off.
"Follow Me denki." My jealousy of deku was quickly forgotten and was replaced with an overwhelming amount of pain.
I need to hold it in. I can't be seen as weak.
I followed bakugo into the dorms common room with the rest of the bakugo quickly following behind. The day was over but everyone doesn't come back to the common rooms this early so we'd have it all to ourselves.
We settled on the sofa. I sat between mina and bakugo. Mina grabbed my hand and started rubbing my knuckles comfortingly. I remained silent in fear that I would break.
"So...what's up kami?" Mina asked softly interrupting the calm silence.
"It's n-nothing..." I said. I burst into tears which comflicted my statement. Mina quickly leapt up to grab some tissues and I was sitting on the sofa beside bakugo when I felt warm arms wrap around me and I was pulled into a soft embrace. I opened my blurry eyes to see me sitting on bakugos lap with kirishima and sero all sitting beside us with a worried expression.
"I'm going to kill that purple freak."
"N-no. It's not h-his fault. I-ive only known him t-two days. I hate stupid f-feelings." I stuttered.
"Denki? Why are you crying...?" I snapped my head up to see shinsou standing near the door...and he deku has holding his hand...
