It was morning, unlike the previous days. This morning Jenni's body seemed weak. Even she herself had a little difficulty moving her body to wake herself up from her soft bed.
Knock! Knock!
"Jen, you didn't leave this morning?"
A call to the girl could clearly be heard from outside her bedroom door.
With great effort, Jenni managed to sit herself down while gently massaging her forehead.
Her head felt heavy as if a weight had been placed on the nape of her neck.
"Hum, I'm going a little late, Mom."
"Ah, okay, I thought you were leaving early in the morning. Let's have breakfast first, Jen. Mommy has prepared breakfast for you."
Again, only a humming sound can be answered by Jenni, responding quickly to her mother.
Jenni limped a little toward the door of her room and stepped into the dining room, where Rose was waiting for her daughter there.
"Morning, Mom."
