(CLOE'S POV)
I'm speechless while peering over Ziggy and Atara, drowning myself with angst. Can I still keep on pretending fine if the truth is I'm not? How long should I take aback, hide for the sake of being right?
My knees weakened that I can almost flop myself down the floor. Good thing that Val was there; he abruptly holds me steady with a side embrace. The view sapped me out of my energy but not my consciousness. I know Ziggy can't break up with Atara for some reason, but I never expect him to still do something like this with her. This is another part of the story; this is not what I'm expecting.
"Cloe, are you okay?" Val's words are distinct enough, which made Ziggy and Atara noticed us.
"Cloe?" Ziggy's eyes widened upon the sight of us. He unwittingly pushed Atara away from his lap. She frowned and rolled her eyes at me. Ziggy stood up, hold my elbow too, trying to help Val assisting me.
