(CLOE'S POV)
"You're tipsy. Would you like me to bring you home now?" Val is holding me in my elbow for support when I'm about to trip. The surrounding looks moving and vague makes me almost trip, I didn't see the steps down to the parking lot. I didn't realize until now, and this is how strange the effect of the liquor is.
"I'm fine, don't worry so much about me. By the way, what time is it?" My eyesight and my brain may not be working perfectly now, but I'm pretty sure I can still handle myself.
"It's past one in the afternoon. Let's just grab our lunch, and then I'll send you home." Val suggested.
"I disagree; we can grab our lunch and go back to school after." I take Val's hand away from my elbow and try to stand straight. I want Val to see that I'm fine.
"I'm not sure that's a great idea. If anything happens to you while sending you back to the campus, it will be on me then," Val looks really worried with his creasing forehead.
