(CLOE'S POV)
After class, I'm meeting with committee heads in every booth that will participate in the university days. It's almost eight in the evening when our meeting adjourns. Everyone goes out ahead of me, and I was left alone, finishing on a few things, like storing the record by its place and tidying the office a little. Upon going out to the SG office, I was taken aback when I saw the entire hallway bare and deserted.
Something feels missing from it since a few days ago. I was never left alone here. I start to get used to going out of the office with Val waiting outside. But tonight, the air feels so cold and direful, and not to mention extremely lonely.
It seems that I'm starting to get used to Vals, annoyingness of tailing me. It is just now that I realized how helpful he has been to me.
