I put down the grilled meat on the table as soon as I arrived at the cottage. Amell and Val had already prepared the table for our boodle fight dinner. They lay bamboo leaves and spread the food on them nicely. They place the rice in the outer part surrounding it, and between them are arrayed spring rolls, sauteed noodles. Cubed, grilled pork, squid, and shrimp are two big grilled scad fish in the middle. Sinamak sauces placed on plastic salad cups are also placed around it.
"I think we are ready for a boodle fight. I'll just go and get the girls." Amell dash off to where the pool to call the ladies.
