"Kyle will be on his way to the hotel now. He will bring Cloe here. Son, if you want Cloe and you have to settle things up with Nadine and her parents, I know it won't be easy. Especially now that Nadine was already pregnant with your child, I know that you find a way to reach a solution. You are a smart son. You will figure it out. But for now, let us take care of Cloe for you." My mom's voice sounded calmer than before, and that also made me feel lighter, a lot lighter. It made me feel that my dilemma wasn't that hard to deal with. I know, I always know that I would be able to choose Cloe in one way or another, but I also hope that she would also know that.
"Okay, mom, thank you. We will be waiting for Kyle here. Please tell him to find us in the basement parking lot." I said to my mom and dropped the call.
