"...you know it was a bit unnerving seeing those kids there" Asher said recalling the events of that morning.
He had informed me of all that had happened with Gordon.
I loved that about him his transparency.
What is better than an Alpha who doesn't keep secrets and is very attentive to the needs of his people?
"Yeah it is" I agreed with him my mind not really in the conversation.
Walking side by side with my mate I could not help but feel like a ton of bricks in a sack were tied to both of my legs.
I had disclosed one of the things that were bugging me. I didn't want to tell him that Mitchell and her gang had been harassing me whenever I was alone with mean words and lies that were unbelievable.
It wasn't like I just allowed her to talk nasty to me I just thought I could make a friend out of an enemy by being patient and calm.
Turns out my approach to her was wrong.
