Carmen was a bit taken aback by the girl's straightforwardness. "Why not?" She didn't see anything wrong with it, but Lorna kept contradicting her being friendly.
"I just have this eerie feeling towards you. You make me uncomfortable."
She chuckled at Lorna's response. "You're just paranoid that I might steal your only friend here since you don't have as much, or any, I think."
Lorna stopped in her tracks and glared at the woman. But she kept on laughing at her face. Her fists clenched in anger.
Carmen hurried on her footsteps and gave Lorna an eye roll and a smirk before continuing her way. She knew she might have hit the spot, but she could only wish that she cared about it. Because she fucking doesn't give any shit.
