Molly led the way in she wanted them to know that she was the one that was in control this time so that even if Janette tried to pay that they would be listening to her instead. Molly knew that she didn't have much money, but she wanted to make sure that she treated Janette this time. Especially with her potentially moving away this was going to be her only chance to do it and she didn't care if it put her a little farther in debt to do it.
They were shown to a table that was off to the side and in the back. Janette could tell that they didn't want them sitting somewhere that everyone first saw when they first walked in unlike when they were all dolled up and it was the four of them together. neither of them wanted that kind of attention anyway but Janette was worried that they were not dressed well enough she didn't want them talking bad about them.
