Chapter 2 - Part 2: The laughter

As they walked slowly and cautiously up the first floor they heard a little girl's giggle. They followed her to the bare office of the principal, they found no one. The giggle echoed within the school walls again and again. This time it came from the floor below them. They went down the stairs on the defensive and the laughter was audible a third and fourth time. <> Anita ask aloud. No answer, they were at the foot of the stairs in front of the door to the inner garden. <> William pointed to the floor marked by a strange black trail made of a rather thick liquid.
