The feast had officially ended and students were set off to go their Common Rooms, their dorms. Darrah set off out the Great Hall with the other Ravenclaw students.
"Darrah! Glad you got sorted into Ravenclaw!" Cedric whisper shouted as he nudged her arm. Darrah smiled and the Hufflepuff instructor bellowed out. "Hufflepuff students, over here!"
Cedric waved goodbye and headed off to his House. Darrah followed the rest of the students and their instructor said, "Okay Ravenclaw students, this will be your dormitory rooms. To access the Common Room, you have to answer a riddle."
A huge painting was plastered on the big door of the Ravenclaw dormitory and it spoke a riddle, the instructor quickly answered it and everyone headed in.
The Common Room was huge, shelves of books and globes of the world were scattered around. Huge paintings were hung up, and everything was blue, bronze, and silver. The night sky was high up on the ceiling, and Darrah couldn't help but get mesmerized into the beautiful sight.
"On that side is the boys' dorms, the other side is the girls'. Please, make yourselves at home." The instructor bowed and headed out of the dormitory.
Darrah headed off with the other girls' to her dorm, her packing bag still slung on her shoulder. She stopped at a bed, setting her bag on it.
"Hey!" A short, dark haired female smiled, she put out her hand. "I am Anya Wickstrom! I am a first year! You must be Darrah Gordor, right?" She set her big luggage on the bed next to Darrah's. "Do ya mind if I take this bed here?"
Darrah sat down on her bed and shook her head as she was shaking Anya's hand. "No, I don't mind, I am Darrah Gordor." She responded as she pulled away from the hand shake. Anya grinned super wide and started unpacking.
"I can tell that many people don't like you." She turned her head to face Darrah. Darrah cocked an eyebrow and looked up to see a group of tall men and ladies crossing their arms. She pursed her lips and shrugged, "What?"
One man said, "You're a muggle aren't you?" He sneered and Darrah glared. Right back then during the ceremony, there was this boy name Draco Malfoy who was horrible like this guy.
Anya stood up, "Felix, please. You can go now." She motioned her arms in a manner where they could shoo off. The group left and she sighed, "Sorry, that was my step-brother and his tribe."
Darrah turned around, not facing the girl. Anya gave a small smile, "I am not like him, besides, get unpacking!" Darrah looked towards her and they both started taking their belongings out of their bags.
