'The Kingdom of Mirrors, and long story short, Sprite plans to indoctrinate those students into his faction with the promise of power. I mean, what young person wouldn't say yes to magic beyond their wildest imaginations?'
'Can't you stop it?'
I shook my head. 'The faction recruiting ritual cannot be interrupted, not even by the Manuari.'
Cali sighed. 'Well, one small blessing, I suppose.'
'In the short term, yes. But, what happens when Sprite orders those students to do something drastic like attack teachers or steal-'
