No one was watching me yet, my pride was safe, and even my Uvaaaru greeter had turned around to talk to somebody else. So, I kicked off my boots, then threw off the top half of my armour. And after that, I quickly looked around to see if the coast was still clear, I'd always been a little self-conscious, and now that was killing me inside.
I flung off the leg plating and pants next, not even bothering to tidy them up before sliding into the hot spring unnoticed. And realising I'd forgotten the damned woollen shorts, I swept them into the water with my wing.
What the hell am I doing here?
'Excuse me, Sir, will your acquaintances be joining you soon?'
I didn't even know who was supposed to be sharing the spring with me, so I just shook my head. 'I will be talking first, and the others will join me later. Hilgarda had a family emergency.'
