Raging fires were quickly reduced to smouldering patches of dirt and debris. And as charred ditches started to fill with water, one of the Uvaaaru dove headfirst into it in an attempt to put itself out.
Then a dragon broke off its attack run on a ship to charge it instead. Claustra.
Fortunately for me, the Knight riding the beast didn't realise what I'd just done, but the second they banked away, the Uvaaaru stared straight up at me, nodded once then fled.
What were we doing? Sure, I could understand why the Elves hated us now, but not the Faeries or Uvaaaru; the conflict with those two made no sense at all. Why should ordinary people have to die just so that a few could get what they wanted? It was ridiculous.
