I fell through the portal, closing it up before any of the gods thought to follow me through. Then I spun on my heels as I recognised where I'd landed. It was the same place we'd found Asher, though up against the far wall lay Dauntless, broken and battered. There'd be no salvaging it now.
There wasn't anyone else down here, from what I could tell, so I cleared the rocky stalagmites, flying over them while not taking my eyes off the ship. I went straight for the topside, banging my hands against the hull as I glided past. If someone happened to be hurt in there, they'd know help was on the way.
