Helios didn't even try to dodge out of the way, with the spell striking him on the chest. Instead of bursting into flames, though, he absorbed the hit. 'What part of Sun God, didn't you understand?'
I forced a smile. 'Unending Blizzard.'
The horses were seemingly unfazed by the cold weather front, with Pyrois swallowing every flake of snow that landed on his long tongue. Helios, on the other hand, was doing his best to shield his smouldering head. Then with a crack of his reigns, he spurred the tamed beasts into action. The chariot bolted away at a velocity I couldn't hope to match, and as a result, I didn't see them loop back around.
'Get out of the way; I'll take care of this.'
The being who'd spoken had curly blonde hair, wearing scarcely more than a red cloak, though, in his hands, was a beautifully designed bow. It was golden with an arrow of silver light resting securely in its nock.
