Callie found that the System was the most complex thing she'd ever messed with. There were so many things she could do with it! All she had to do was get more System Points. Too bad that hadn't been a reward from her Past Lives. Though, since she hadn't had a System to earn points for in her past lives, it made sense. It just would have made everything so much easier.
However, when she moved on to the Help Articles about Arion, she was quickly frustrated.
'Why does every, single article have an Unknown Error in it somewhere! I don't think I'm getting even a tenth of the total articles!' Callie bemoaned, silently. 'Why give me a mission to read these articles, if most of them are blocked with system errors?'
Not that there wasn't a lot of things available to be learned. For instance, Callie had learned that there were over 100 dungeons on this planet, though she had no idea what they contained. All she knew was that each dungeon had a Skill Book you could only get the first time you completed it. It wasn't easy completing a dungeon, it required a party, along with requiring expensive supplies and the permission of the local Lord to even try it.
And, of course, the local Lords were rarely accommodating. The Skill Books dungeons gave were on the banned book lists across the planet.
Banned book lists were all the Skill Books that you had to be a noble to be allowed access to. The Demon Emperor had created the list himself, when he and his Lords had used the power they gained from the system to subjugate the masses.
How did they subjugate the masses? Callie didn't know, because that was another section that only said Unknown Error.
Names, major historical moments, even geographical locations that weren't close to Callie by a few miles, all of these said Unknown Error.
The result by the end of reading about Arion was Callie knew the gist of how the planet worked, but the specifics were all unknown.
However, when Callie switched tabs back to her Mission tab, a wonderful message greeted her!

Callie excitedly went to her Status screen, looking to see her new rewards. A series of pop-ups loaded as soon as she switched, much to Callie's joy.

Confused, Callie switched back to the Missions page, and clicked on the Mission 1.

Callie's frown turned into a full-blown pout at these words. She'd planned on using her 4 points to unlock Titles and the System Store! But there was no way she could wait until she earned another System Point to find out what kind of Skill Book she'd gotten!
'Yes.' Callie thought begrudgingly.
Ding!
For the first time, the System made a small sound to garner Callie's attention. Callie almost jumped at the sound, taken by surprise. The surprise quickly faded to annoyance.
--Inventory Tab is Now Unlocked--
Immediately, the Mission tab faded from before Callie's eyes, only to be replaced by a large screen of small tiles.
Callie squinted at the tiles, shocked. Sure, some of them were locked, but as she scrolled through the Inventory tab, the tiles seemed to go on and on forever! No wonder Level 4 was 1,000 points, you could store enough supplies to feed, clothe, and house every resident of the planet with the room in this thing!
Callie gave up before she reached the end. Maybe Level 4 was actually infinite inventory, in which case, it was remarkably cheap.
Going back to the top to view the few tiles with something actually in them, Callie quickly asked about the first item, unable to wait.

Callie wanted to squeal with excitement. She got starter packages, too! I guess this treat had been waiting for her to unlock the inventory tab this whole time.
'Guess it was a good thing the System pressured me into this choice.' Callie thought with a mental shrug. 'Alright, System, thank you! But please don't ever make that awful ding sound again!'
