Emma just woke up from her coma and found Terric laying next to her. The nurses told him that she was lucky, although her body heat reached 100° F, she managed in some way to survive and the burns didn't reach her vitals. However she needs to stay in the church for another two days.
Terric saw Emma wake up yet he was afraid to get closer. Emma noticed him. She tried to speak heavily with a croaky voice :
" I'm sorry if my evil spirit caused you trouble "
Terric for the first time saw Emma's sadness, he felt pity for her.
" Is Marbas okay ? I remember I heared his voice ! "
Terric remained silent yet this silence was troubling Emma.
" Please Terric ! Did he make it ? Where is Marbas ? Aghh "
She tried to leave her bed with her severe wounds.
" He's safe ! Please don't push yourself ! "
Emma realized what's happening, Terric is upset, his tone was different. It was the first time he didn't say big brother. Terric spoke :
" I was mistaken, Marbas isn't a good guy ! "
" What made you say this ? "
" He killed an innocent former knight !"
Emma looked at the ground, it's like she was hiding a dark secret.
" You said he was a good hearted person, he saved you but from what I've seen, he's a selfish coldblooded asshole who cares only about himself "
" He's still a good hearted person, but.. "
Terric saw Emma for the first time crying, her silver eyes were glowing, they showed pure sorrow.
" Marbas is carrying a big guilt and burden which caused his personality to break down. "
Terric was shocked from what he've heared :
" What kind of burden Aerith ? "
" His mentor's death ! "
Eight years ago, Marbas officially joined the circle. He moved to Pruinae to begin his assasin's training in the circle's academy. Marbas was a stubborn and hardheaded kid, he hated the circle so much for unknown reasons only him knows. There was no person in the academy who could get along with him. The circle's elder noticed that, He didn't want to waste his talents yet he needs to complete his training. He had an idea.
The hierarchy in the circle is unique, The leader was a divine and powerful figure that no one knew or heared of. You can never know or see who he is and if you got caught looking for his identity, you end up either brainwashed and exiled and that's if you were lucky, in most of the cases you get eliminated. They say the only man who faced the leader and lived was Haboryn, a former elder. This leader's controversial thing is all for the benefit of the organization. A terrorist cult, who worship the god Sephin and control secretly every church in Nuabya, murder important persons such as dukes, nobles and royals as well. People from all around Nuabya pay a tons of money for their services as they have a 80% assassination rate.
Besides the leader there are four elders, every elder is insanely powerful and has his proper region and academy in which he recruits his own subordinates. The new members could never talk to the elder and receive missions from their proper churches, unless they became elites and subordinates and of course the more you scale in this hierarchy the better rewards and fame you get. At last there are the Pastors who their missions is to recruit new members with great talents from orphanages. The brainwashing process begins in the churchs. Marbas was a golden talent as he scored an S in all tests ( Strenght, Speed and intelligence ). As he was so skilled
the elder let him join an elite's team even if he didn't start his training. The perfect mentor for him was Berthold, a drunk, crazy-ass soldier from the organization. He was the perfect choice for Marbas. He was later presented to the other team members by Berthold. Marbas felt a dark aura, those guys were all monsters, how the fuck they are working as a team. They looked at Marbas with terrifying eyes, like they wanna eat him alive. However Marbas gave them back the same gaze.
Frederic an assasin and a Berthold's team member was pissed :

Frederic was an arrogant and outrageous guy. He is known as the circle's best assasin and scored S on strength and A on intelligence and speed. He was recruited from Montrault's church in Efruna. He was full of himself, other members always pay him respect. He had a small white hair and near invisible eyebrows. His eyes were sharp and golden yellow. They were like the panther's. He had an average height and wide shoulders. He was wearing a shining necklace with a glowing black stone in it. His friends say that Frederic was a born leader. He had foreigner facial traits.
" HEY ASSHOLES ! SAY HELLO TO YOUR NEW BROTHER OR I WILL KICK YOUR ASS ! "
Berthold was hell of a crazy bastard.
Frederic approached, he wanted to greet his new friend :
" Hello and welcome to our brotherhood ! " He spitted in Marbas's shoes without Berthold's noticing.
" Why is this new kid staring at me ? Did I do something wrong ? Am I ugly ? "
" You are thinking louder Tibbotie !! "
" Oh shit he heared me what I'll gonna do now ! I wanna die now ! "

The guy who was thinking loud was Tibbotie, the biggest of all the boys, yet the weak minded. He's always afraid and lacks confidence. He had wide dark eyes and a fat face. His body was huge and always sweating. He was recruited from Mativa's church in Landnor. He scored an A in strength, D in both intelligence and speed.
The other guy who spoke to Tibbotie was Joseph. He was from Barcencia's church in Landnor. He scored an A in intelligence and a B in both strength and speed. He had a very long hair and he was so beautiful missing every manly physical trait. He looked like a female. His hair was brown and his eye's color was hazel. Thus he was the well mannered and mature of all the boys. He and Tibbotie are close friends.
The last member of the brotherhood was Reeve with a score of S in intelligence, D in both speed and strength.
He was the strangest guy of all of them. His identity was kept secret from Berthold and he has no records in any of the circle's library. He was recruited directly by the elder's order.
He was always wearing a mask. His facial expressions were hidden. Same for his personality because he was most of the time sleeping.
°° What the fuck is this team ? °° Marbas said in his mind. Berthold looked at him and patted on his back :
" WUHAHAHA. I KNOW THAT YOU'LL GET ALONG WITH THOSE BITCHS. THAT'S THE SPIRIT MARBAS. WUHAHAHA ! "
Marbas sulked :
" Tssssk "
Berthold was the kind of person Marbas hated the most, the cheerful annoying guy, what's worst is it was his mentor.
" WAHAHA I'LL LEAVE YOU BITCHS TO KNOW EACH OTHER. TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEW BROTHER WAHAHA ! I'LL GO DISCUSS THE NEXT MISSION WITH MRS ELISE WAHAHA "
His face blushed and his nose was bleeding as he was drunk.

Everyone looked at Marbas except for Frederic who hated Marbas and Reeve who was sleeping, it's like they could hear his mind and answered him :
" YES ! "
Fred have noticed Marbas's stone dagger with a word inscribed in it :

°°Why is he having the same word in his necklace.°°
" Hey you rookie ! Your dagger let me see it ! "
Marbas replied in a confident tone :
" What if I didn't want too ? "
Fred angrily responded :
" Did you just challenge me cunt ? "
The other boys were pumped for the coming fight, they will get to know the rookie's abilities. However Reeve was still dreaming.
An intense presence from both sides, it was a battle for the title of the strongest assasin in the circle.
Fred landed a punch on Marbas who evaded it at ease. Fred landed multiple punches in the air and none of them touched Marbas.
Everyone were suprised :
" Is he using Ki ?? "
Marbas never understood or cared about their saying :
" It's my turn now right hero ? "
Marbas faked a punch, he was aiming at Fred's legs and with a ground kick Fred's lost his balance and fell down. Marbas began punching Fred's aggressively until the boys interfered and stopped the fight. He outsmarted the arrogant kid and gave him a lesson. On the other hand Fred had a terrible feeling, the feeling of defeat, and by who, by a rookie who never completed his training. Marbas sensed a sudden change in Fred's aura, it became dark and full of hate. All he was thinking about is retaliation. Something is coming from Fred's body. A dark flames spread all around his hands and Marbas finally noticed the word : < μεράκι > glowing from his pendant.
" FRED ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS ? BERTHOLD FORBIDDED US FROM USING ANY AETHER POWERS IN THE ACADEMY YET YOU'RE USING YOUR AUROEAL ? "
Joseph tried to stop him yet Fred didn't care and all he was thinking about was giving this rookie a lesson.
" FUCK OFF ME !!! "
Marbas was amazed from this powerful aura that he felt for the first time. It was a serious killer intent.
