I tried to change the topic.
"Anyway, when will you be going back home?" I asked.
"Not so soon." he said.
"I extended the flight again." he reminded me. "And also, you asked me to stay for the fashion show remember?"
I couldn't remember.
"I did?" and he nodded.
"There's just so much going on right now." I said. "I totally forgot about it."
He laughed.
When hearing the news on television, the whole company including Mr Alvin was very shocked. No one could have known that he conned everyone. They went back to their workplaces after with this news still in their minds.
Mr Alvin got back to his room. He called Lia wondering where she was.
