Axel could've sworn it was him, but to his utmost surprise, the voice sounded young which had him guessing that the voice was that of a child.
Wait, what? There was no way… He looked over to Elliot, who wore the same look of confusion.

It wasn't a question, but a statement, and he knew it. No one would have that reaction to hearing what was just said.

Mummers spread across the room, and Victoria couldn't help but feel sorry for the man standing on the podium. Years of public speaking and appearance somewhat gave her the eye of picking out both the best and worst qualities of a public speaker.
