"That's where you screwed up," said his mother as she stated the obvious, staring at him in disappointment.
"I-I wouldn't put as harsh as you did. I-It was just a slip-up." corrected Killian nervously, nodding nevertheless.
"Boy, this is no time for a joke-" Began Killian's mother before the sound of Killian's cellphone ringing interrupted her.
"Excuse me for a sec," muttered Killian as he stared at the screen with furrowed brows before he walked into the kitchen, seeking its solitude.
"Hello, my ask who is this?" He asked in a polite voice, rolling his eyes as he saw the shadow of his mother.
"No you may not," answered the caller in a panic tone which seemed a bit odd to him.
Killian turned to his mother, giving her a shrug while mouthing 'I don't know' when she gestured towards his phone.
"Ok… Why are you calling?" question Killian in a confused tone.
