"I need to go, Luca," said Victoria as she placed her earring in her ears.
Luca has been trying to convince her not to go to her meeting for the past hour. Which was pretty useless if you think of it?
It was her job meeting, and she had to meet with her bosses for her next assignment. And it could not wait.
She spent about a year rising to the ranks, and she needed to go to that meeting if she wanted to continue rising.
"Can't you like call in sick or something?" asked the boy while shutting his mac book closed.
"No Hun, I've told you this like a thousand times," she answered as she walked up to him, placed her hands on his shoulder, before leaning down as she kissed him.
Groaning, Luca wrapped his hands around her waist, hugging her.
"What about Wesley?" he asked, his voice muffled against her tank top.
Wesley, she hadn't thought about that. Pulling away from her son, she took out her phone, dialing the one person she could rely on right now.
