Chapter 35 - Black Book Of Death

Chapter 35 :

Butler Norts released a sigh and said, "I know that it was wrong of me to come into your office acting like I'm not at fault too."

Throughout Butler Norts's speech, Victoria could not keep a straight face.

She didn't give a damn about his stupid speech, to be honest.

None of her important files have gone missing, as far as she could tell.

She had her cousin to take care of all the legal aspects of this situation and decided that she would just make his life a living hell anywhere he went.

But of course, she would not let him know that.

Sighing, she crossed her hands and gave them both a stern look, Butler Norts more than the maid.

And asked, "What is the first rule that you were told when you first got the job?"

"What?" they both asked confusedly.

"You didn't-" started Ava as she walked forward before Andrew stopped her.

"Did I give you permission to talk?" Victoria sneered as she cooked her hips to the side.

"Answer my fucking questions!" she demanded, making every person in the room to jump in shock.

"No Ma'am," said the maid submissively. She was burning with rage on the inside, 'How dare she,' she thought.

Eight minutes passed by in complete silence. And during those first five minutes, Victoria was on the verge of breaking down, but she held her cool.

Butler Norts would occasionally shift from his right leg to his left leg and vice versa. He was not used to the level of silence that his boss was oozing off now.

And that made him nervous.

He watched as she sighed and opened her drawer and took out a black book with her pen.

"I hoped that I wouldn't have to retort to this option, but...." there was a brief pause as she stared into nothing, "You gave me no choice," she continued as she sighed.

"Someone gave me this a present in China," she explained as she walked around her desk to stand in front of them.

"Do you know what this is?" she asked as she held up the book to their eye level.

'Why am I even holding this up for them to see,' she thought as she brought the book back down before they could get a good look?

"This is Double BOD," she said with the perfect snobby tone.

"What?" everyone in the room asked at the same time while looking at Victoria in confusion.

'You just had to show off,' chastised her subconscious. "It simply translates to, Black book of death."

Andrew quickly turned to look at his cousin and warned, "Victoria, don't you dare do what I think you're going to do."

Andrew knew once someone's name enters that book, it either goes in two ways. The first is that they're blacklisted in every country in the world with a bounty on their heads. And the second option is that they're stripped of their identity and left with nothing but a bounty on their heads.

So in both cases, they're practically dead.

"Victoria, no!" he exclaimed, but it was too late. She'd already written their names in the book. And all he could do was stand and watch as the lights went out, one after the other.

"What's going on?" he heard the maid asked as she tried to cling to his arm. Andrew looked at her with a deadpanned expression and answered, "Your doom."

'What the hell Andrew, out of all the things that you could've said you said the line of a fifties' movie,' he thought as he scolded himself mentally.

"I did not want this to happen," said Victoria as she looked at the book in her hand.

"But you made me, I'm sorry" apologized Victoria with a smirk on her face. And this got everyone except Andrew confused about what she was saying.

"M-Madam Victoria, what are you talking about?" asked Butler Norts cautiously, as he was afraid of what her reaction might be.

Andrew sighed he knew that his cousin liked the suspense, so she would not answer.

"Both of you got blacklisted," he said bluntly as he looked at Victoria.

"You fucking bitch!" exclaimed Ava as she tried to lunge at Victoria, "Why would you do that?!..... I did nothing!" she exclaimed on the verge of tears.

The Butler looked at Victoria as if she had just crushed his heart.

"W-Why?" he asked as his voice cracked, "I was by your side ever since you were young, you're wished was my every command," he pleaded as he walked towards her with his arms held out.

"Yeah," she snorted while rolling her eyes, "Until someone came and told you they love you, you forget completely about my grandmother."

"But, you lied to me, you stole from me and broke the number one rule in this house..... So I think you now know why," she shrugged as she walked over to her chair and sat in it.

'Gosh, I need a drink,' she thought mentally, although she knew she could not, because of her pregnancy and all.

She looked at the antique clock and said, "The security will be up here any minute, so look like the guilty bitches you are."

'I was not expecting that,' thought Andrew as the security came barging in the office.

"Whoa, that was fast," chuckled Victoria as she ran towards a guy with a powerful physique.

"Will," she squealed as she jumped into his open arms.

"Vicki, my bébé, where were you," said the guy before continuing "I haven't seen you in forever."

Andrew watched with great interest as his cousin talked happily to the guy.

'Damn, Axel has some serious competition,' he thought as he tried to contain a laugh.

Victoria couldn't keep the smile off her face even if she wanted to.

She and Will had been excellent friends in high school. They did everything together, too bad he left for Asia.

'Ahh.... those were the days,' she sighed inwardly while looking at him.

'Damn that was a hella glow up,' she thought.
