The sound of knives contacting the ceramic plates echoed throughout the dining room. Malcolm and Will conversed with each other, taking to their hosts every once in a while.
"Victoria, are your things ready for tomorrow asked?" asked Will while wiping the sauce off the side of his mouth.
This caused everyone to pause as they stared at her, even little Luca as he patiently waited for her answer.
Victoria tried her best not to look at her son's curious expression as she answered her boss.
Placing both hands on the table, she gave Will a nervous smile but received an icy glare in return, causing her to find the tablecloth as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"I-I… "She trailed off as Luca stood up and glared at Will.
"Aren't you the guy who at the hospital when my mother was on her deathbed?" He asked out loud in a somewhat curious tone.
