"Mom, aren't you going to go to bed?" asked a sleepy Luca while rubbing his eyes, causing her to turn towards his direction in surprise. He was clad in his usual nightwear, which comprises a white T-shirt and gray (sweatpants).
It was roughly around 9:30 pm and Victoria took comfort from her vintage sofa, which lives at the corner of her living room. Today was an amazing day for her, and she couldn't just get the events out of her head.
Shifting slightly to get a good look at her boy, she observed him from head to toe, eyes grazing over his injured hand.
"Hmm," she hummed thoughtfully while bringing up a finger towards her lips. She took the cube of ice from his mouth, throwing it back into her glass.
"Why aren't you asleep? It's your bedtime… Remember, you have somewhere to go tomorrow," she stated in a tired voice.
"Where?" asked the curious boy as he walked closer towards the sofa, seating himself at the arm.
