"Hey dude!… isn't this your mother?!" shouted his friend from the living room, causing him to run into the living room, leaving the bowl of popcorn behind.
"Where?" he asked, his tone filled with excitement and anticipation.
"Bro, why are you so happy?" Asked his friend as he gave him a weird look. "This isn't something to be happy about," he stated, causing the glow on Luca's face to sullen.
"W-What are you talking about?" asked Luca in confusion.
"Am I not supposed to be excited about my mother?" he asked when he saw his friend shaking his head.
"Bro," sighed his friend as he ran his hand down his face.
"I just saw your mother on the television," he started. "Well, obviously… she's a celebrity, both our parents are," said Luca in a 'duh,' tone.
"She was bleeding bro… your father had to bring her to the hospital, it's all over the internet," he said, purposefully keeping out the part about his father cheating on his father.
