"Yeah. Wait… Are you even listening to anything I'm saying?" her tone dripping with annoyance, her head tilting back as she stared at him.
It was like déjà vu for what seemed like the hundredth time. With one of them saying something to irritate the other, and the other repeating the same process vice versa. Until you know it they was at each other's throat.
That was what's going on between the two adults standing in front of the babies. And though they were not at each other's throat. One couldn't bottle their emotions for that long.
