"I need to get going now," whispered Bryan, unwinding his hands from around her waist. The loud pounding on the door followed by the shouting of his men was a clear indicator that they needed him. Urgently.
They could hear rounds of shots throughout the vicinity, which resulted in the terrifying screams of many. The beauty standing before him gave a pleasant smile while nodding her head. Anyone could mistake the fire she had burned in her eyes. Bryan almost did.
One foot forward, he made his way towards the large metal door in front of him. 'This is it, there's no going back now. Not when I have their most wanted possession.'
A tug of his sleeve brought him his stare down to Victoria and her large swollen belly. He couldn't help the smile that came over his face. A few tendrils of her silver locks fell into her face, denying access to those beautiful eyes of hers.
