Is the world fair? Are people the same? Do laws really work as they should? What ... the reason for my existence?
Children's laughter can be heard in a modest house, despite the simple appearance it is well organized and clean, two children can be seen playing with the country happily.
"Daddy, brother doesn't want to return my doll!"
"It's a lie, dad! She took my cart first!"
A man looks at the two children with a questioning look and says "Can someone explain to me what's going on?"
Before the look of the father the boy and the girl are afraid and do not try to lie anymore.
"Er ... it was Shika who started it! She took my cart when she said she wasn't going to help her get the candy from the table"
The father looks at his daughter with a slight frown on his face "That's true? Shika-chan?"
The girl lowers her head and begins to mutter under her breath, "stupid brother! You can't keep a secret!" With his hands behind his back and admits nodding slightly.
"Silly girl, did you think I was going to be nervous about something so silly? Go talk to your mother so she can get the candy for you" Says the father with a slight smile on his face looking at the children in front of him.
And then says "Give each other's things back soon, if I don't tell your mother"
The two children freeze and return things.
After that the girl looks at her brother showing her tongue and runs off towards the kitchen.
"That brat!" Says the nervous boy.
The father looks at his son and says in a playful tone "And who are you to call her a brat? You are only 3 years older than her"
Being reminded of this the boy is embarrassed and I left as quickly as possible towards the room.
"Yatagarasu took that tantrum from his mother," he says, laughing softly.
Unfortunately his wife was coming back from the kitchen and heard everything, feeling a strong pinch in the waist the man turns and freezes.
"I-that ... that's not what I meant dea-"
Before he could finish the sentence, the pain in his waist increases "Okay! Sorry for what I said! Just stop pinching me!"
"Hump! I'm glad you know what's good for you" says the woman with a faint smile of victory on her face.
'Ahh ... my cool posture was like dust in the wind ...' The man thinks but doesn't let it show, he didn't want to have another pinch on his waist.
"Invite the children to dinner, Shika-chan came to ask to give her sweets but I said that only after dinner"
"Apparently someone said that she could eat the sweets before dinner" The woman shows a frightening face sending chills to her husband.
"Ah! I think I forgot to buy something at the convenience store, I'm on my way, love! Kisses and see you late-"
His collar is grabbed and the man makes an expression that says 'Please don't kill me!' making the scene comical.
After a few minutes the children and parents are gathered at the table for dinner, laughter and games occasionally occurring, giving a cozy atmosphere to the simple house.
Unfortunately this happiness did not last forever ...
When Yatagarasu entered high school, things started to get worse.
Arriving home from the first day of school, he overhears a conversation from his parents and his cheerful expression fades.
"Dear what are we going to do now? The children are still studying, I don't want them to stop studying to work" His mother has a sad expression on her face, this makes Yatagarasu's heart feel an inexplicable tightness.
"Honey, I already said that this is not going to happen, even though I was fired I will fix it, you needn't worry" Despite his words, his father is clearly worried.
Yatagarasu shakes hands helplessly in the face of the situation.
"I am not going to let the children work, I am going to ask to increase my workload and try to get some jobs in my free time"
Hearing the woman say this, Yatagarasu's father feels reluctant 'Damn it! If only I hadn't said that damn thing ... '
"Well, I'll see if I can get a job at another company, you don't have to worry, dear" The man says with a forced smile.
Seeing the husband like this, the wife sees that the conversation is not going anywhere 'This proud fool, if I have to, I will work twice as hard to keep the children from working' despite the thoughts Yatagarasu's mother says "Let's think about these things later children are coming "
Listening to the conversation Yatagarasu feels frustrated, but still tries to maintain a happy facade when entering the house.
A few months after that event he had to change schools, his father had found a good job in another city and they had to move.
His mother works more than twice as long and hardly stopped at home, Chika gradually distanced herself from him and her father was practically all day away from home.
Yatagarasu's notes slowly drop, on the rare occasions that the family got together they tried their best to make the most of it.
When Yatagarasu turned 18, something that would mark his entire life happened.
The phone rings and how his parents had gone on a business trip and his sister was still at school Yatagarasu answers.
"Hello?"
"Hello, am I talking to Mr. Yatagarasu?" A female voice responds.
"Ah, yes, he is, who's talking?" He feels that something is wrong.
"It's from the general hospital, your parents had an accident and are here right now"
"Hello? Mr. Yatagarasu?"
Yatagarasu drops the phone to the floor, his hands keep shaking and he feels an indescribable pain in his heart.
"W-why ..."
He picks up the phone and asks for the address immediately 'I mustn't give up now! I have to see how they are doing! ' he does not stop shaking even after the call ends.
'First I have to get Chika-chan, I can't leave her alone here'
Yatagarasu runs towards his sister's school and meets her along the way with her friends.
"Brother? What are you doing here?"
Yatagarasu looks directly at her and responds quickly.
"Something happened to Dad and Mom"
Chika freezes when she hears those words from her brother's mouth and looks at friends saying "Sorry, we'll see you later"
Yatagarasu takes Chika's hand and runs to call the nearest taxi, as soon as he enters the taxi he immediately goes to the hospital where his parents are.
But no matter how fast it was, it was still too late ...
