Nobody's POV:
He couldn't describe the sensation, there was remorse, there was grief and there was sorrow but there was also another emotion, awe. His hands were hot and his head was spinning, his steely eyes looked down at the scarlet liquid that pooled around the man's head.
The body was absolutely mutilated.
His arms were strewn across the floor, contorted into positions so absolutely odious that they looked inhuman. His flesh was flayed gruesomely, it was twisted into ribbon like strips and his pale skin was stained crimson.
Mud was caked onto his boots which seemed to be the only things still tact. Lifeless eyes stared back at him and greasy blonde locks lay soaked in blood on the faded tile.
Chuuya smiled, foxy orange hair framed his face and his azure eyes glimmered with ecstasy as he stepped on the man's chest, his heart lay limp and his lungs refused to rise.
"Ah! I can't believe I almost forgot something!" He grinned, taking a gloved hand to the man's face and slamming his jaw against the curb, a repugnant cracking noise silenced the room.
"There!" He beamed, his gloves were now glossy with blood. The warehouse stunk now, the corpse had already begun to rot. Chuuya grimaced, he loved the adrenaline rush that only killing could give him but he hated cleaning up after himself.
"How pitiful" he cried "you submitted the second you thought your life was in danger, unfortunately I don't play nice with people I hate!" He spat, his boots clacking against the dreary tile as he made a swift exit.
He abhorred that man and nothing could top the feeling of absolute pleasure that shot through him upon seeing his lifeless eyes and dismembered body.
With the rotten smell of blood etched into his clothes, he got into his car and smirked devilishly, the time had finally come for his reports on the slaying.
Hurriedly, he dialed Mori's number and spoke a little too unbothered.
"I got a little carried away..." he shrugged shifting the cars gear into drive. "I hated that stupid bastard" he cursed.
"We're going to need the cleaning team again aren't we?" Mori sighed, the line went silent for a moment.
"Yeah" chuuya spoke breathlessly "and we're definitely going to need more than one person." Mori chuckled.
"I was sure I told you to at least try and clean up a bit." Chuuya groaned.
"Yeah, yeah I know———I'll be more careful next time..." a pause " I promise" Mori stayed quiet, even his breathing could barely be heard. He didn't say a word for several minutes.
"You said that last time——- look, I've called the crew in and they're absolutely fed up with you. During an assassination, never let your feelings take over."
"I'm sure I've heard you say that way more often than I've heard you tell me to stop being messy." Chuuya huffed, hanging up abruptly without another word.
Images of earlier resurfaced in his mind earning a frenzied ear-to-ear grin from him. He remembered exactly what the man looked like when his heart was still beating safely inside of his chest and his face could still be identified. Back when he sported a revolting grin and sharp, green eyes.
Then, he remembered his face after being hacked beyond repair and he remembered the look of horror chiseled into his pale skin. He remembered the grossly high pitch of his voice begging for mercy and he absolutely couldn't forget the moment when the color faded from his face and his body fell to the ground with a thud.
Chuuya was giddy now. He turned on the radio, some trashy pop song was playing but he didn't mind, he only wanted something playing to rid the car of it's ever-so-unpleasant silence. And so, the pop song played as he sped home eagerly.
Immediately upon arrival, he locked his car and walked to the kitchen. In the pantry, he found just what he was looking for. His favorite bottle of wine. Claret juice sparkled as though it were his very own saving grace.
He blissfully grabbed a corkscrew and popped the wine open, pouring it gracefully into his glass and taking eccentric sips. It seemed he had class up until the moment the wine touched his tongue.
"Ah, finally." He sighed, his mind at ease. He didn't even bother to turn the tv on, he only took sips of his wine and stared up at the ceiling.
"Damn." He whispered to himself, he was tired now. The gravity of what he'd done just barely hitting him. But he didn't have time to think or even feel. He finished up his glass and stripped, changing into his pajamas he flopped onto his bed and fell asleep.
~~~~~~oooooh le time skip~~~~~~~~~
The next morning he was hesitant to get up, the bed was just so soft and warm now. He rolled himself up in the bedspread and fell asleep again.
The second time he woke up was no different than the first, he was reluctant. The covers were just too soft and toasty in contrast to the rest of the room which was chilly and therefore unfavorable.
But after his phone began to ring relentlessly, he couldn't sleep anymore. The pestilent chiming made him want to claw his brains out. Finally, he cursed himself silently and threw the blanket to the ground, swinging his legs over the bed's frame and grabbing his phone from the nightstand.
It took every ounce of self control he had to refrain from slamming the thing right into the wall. With a grunt, he checked his missed calls.
3 missed calls from: Bastard
Chuuya groaned, irked by the fact that his boss was impudent enough to call him on his day off. Angrily, he called Mori back.
"You've got some balls, calling me on my day off. What the fuck do you want."
"Chuuya, calm down. Look- we're going to need you to train a rookie for us."
"Get that dumb fuck Akutagawa to do it or something, I want to sleep." He huffed, Mori was definitely more than annoyed by now.
"He's busy."
"So am I."
"Just fucking shut up and do it or I'll punish you for insubordination."
"Fine. But won't you at least let me have the rest of this day off."
"You will come when I call you."
"Like hell." He mumbled, hanging up and crawling right back under the covers, directly disobeying his bosses orders without a second thought.
