"What does he mean my that?" I demanded to Charlie. "What does he mean?" I repeated myself.
I saw a smirk begin to form upon Charlies perfectly sculpted face. "We really fooled you didn't we? You thought I was just an anxious boy who was always nervous."
The blade on the ground began to quiver violently.
"Surprise." Charlie said sarcastically and the blade levitated. WHOOSH! I sidestepped just in time to avoid being sliced in the face.
"I bet you didn't expect me to be the boss." He said smirking. "You were so focused on my 'oh I'm so nervous and can't do anything in a battle' act"
The blade flew into his hand and seemed to glow crimson in the moonlight. His blue eyes seemed to glow crimson too along side the blade. At first I thought I was hallucinating, but then came to realized engraving were really forming slowly across the blade.
WHOOSH! Another blade? I thought quickly. No, there was only one in the room, unless he hid one in here! No, that can be, it would have to move towards him and there is no movement in the room right now. I glanced back at Charlie but he was gone.
I scanned by surroundings and did not detect any signs of Charlie. Suddenly I felt a breeze behind me and jumped forward.
As quickly as I could, I turned around to face the position of where I felt the breeze blow on me.
"Hey your pretty fast for a human." Charlie said smirking. "What a waste. Come on just go to sleep again and you will wake up fresh again."
"Fat chance dude, you already know I remember everything that happens while I'm asleep." I countered grinning.
"Good point," Aiden said looking up at the sealing disappointed. "Well, this is a terrible waste of skill." he pouted. "Well look on the bright side!" he exclaimed positively, "You're already dead!"
"No I'm not, don't go on bluffing, no way would I-" Suddenly, I felt lightheaded and the room began to spin. "What did you do to me?" I asked woozily feeling my back. "No way did he hit me with that flash." I thought to myself.
"So you have finally realized huh," Charlie laughed. "Well, you have lasted longer than the average human. Well this is goodbye, Aiden was it?"
I touched my back and felt a tear. I hardly had enough coordination to stay standing. "The cut wasn't too deep so it must have been some form of Poison." I thought to myself.
"Don't fight it." Charlie shrugged, "No one has ever withstood my poison and lived to tell the tale."
"Quite Cocky of youuuuu-" Then my mind slipped and the rest of the events were a blur.
I felt myself drift into a lucid state.
"No, no, no," I heard Charlie scream. "This cannot be, how are you still standing?"
I heard another whooshing sound and this time it was headed towards my chest. A sharp pain struct my chest but immediately dissipated.
"Impossible!" Charlie shrieked, "BUT STILL YOU CANNOT WIN!" I saw a lucid image of 3 Charlies, no, 5 Charlies. The number grew dramatically.
"You still think you can take me?" He asked crazed with confidence, "You cant even see me now, all you can see is my after image. Do you even realize how fast I am? I'm breaking the sound boundary and you-"
Charlie was stopped mid sentence and I saw him collapse suddenly with my hand at his throat.
"You're not a human-" Chocked Charlie. "But no matter, I am the weakest of the 10 elite, you will never reach Karaguma at this level. Prepare to be totally-"
"Where have I heard this name before?" I thought to myself. I heard a snap and then I seemed to drop his body onto the ground, and I myself also slipped completely unconscious.
