Umm, excuse me?
All I know, is that someone was speaking in my head or something. I don't know who it is, but if they tryin to mess up the time of my life, this guy's got another thing comin!!
I was on alert and tried using an intimidating voice, "What was that?"
"Up here." I look up, but all I see is the glorious, white bundle of jo- wait a sec... "Yes, I'm the wolf," was sighed directly in my head.
"Woah, woah, woah - you can talk!?"
"Heh!? Do you not understand your own ability!?" It's large muzzle with a giant, black nose crept close to my face with a seemingly judgy look. "Wow, I can't believe I got hooked in by an idiot.."
"Hey, I'm not stupid - just not the best at deciphering?" I had no idea what I was saying at this point, but I just didn't want to be seen as 'dumb' by the first monster I've captured. Not only was it cool and powerful, it was so freakin adorable! "Hey, you must be a White-Bishop Rank, right?"
It looked at me quizzically. "I don't know much about you humans nor what a 'bishop' is. I cannot answer."
I noticed how pinpoint every word it said was. No wasted speech and everything was crystal clear. That's when I was thinking about it's voice. "Hey, are you a guy?"
"If you are asking if I'm male, then yes." He got closer and began lightly sniffing. If it wasn't for the slight flares in his nostrils, I may not have noticed. "You are male as well, correct? You're not a child, so why are you so small?"
I began to pout with my arms crossed and tried storming off, but completely forgot about the icy hell outside of the small, safe space. Freezing to the bones, I rushed back to the giant mound of muscle, fur, and heat.
I felt it was odd since the blizzard was totally quiet, eerily so. I asked the wolf if he could stop this snowstorm, and he complied. Snow stopped in midair as if time was no longer a constant. The glorious, golden globe began to cascade everywhere again as the terrible winter passed.
I can't wait to rub it in everyone's faces. I was so proud of myself, but then, something hit me. What the wolf said about me not understanding my own power.
He agreed in letting me ride his back to school since I was injured, but to be honest, I had sewn it up pretty well, so I could've gone without his help. I made sure to ask questions about monsters and some things on my magic. We said that my powers were based on speculation, but it was amazing just how intelligent he was.
He didn't show it, but I think he enjoyed having someone to talk to like this and even asked several questions about humans.
It wasn't too long before we reached my school. He didn't have a name, so I decided to call him Frost from now on.
When we got to our destination, it had apparently been a bit longer than I had originally thought as I had randomly fallen asleep. Still groggy but held that wolf plush tightly in my grip the entire time. The fight was a bit intense and scary, but I don't think I should've fallen asleep like that...
A path of green was created when the piles of snow parted like Moses and led to the front doors. I was like a king with his subjects shifting to let their ruler though.
Frost had pushed open the doors and managed to barely duck in. I, however, who was lost in thought had bashed my face into the entrance-way and collapsed on the ground.
Frost just continued in and laid down as students and staff backed away, gawking at the sight. I quickly zoomed into the entrance and declared, "I have captured a monster!!" I made sure to point out all the people who made fun of me, "Ben, Mrs. Brown, Mr. Torrent, Ms. Karen - Carole," That last person was filled with bitterness as she's easily the most annoying little- "Suck it!! All of you!!"
I just began to jump around parading in my achievement with Frost looking at me with obvious embarrassment.
"Gregory!!" I heard my name yelled in a stern, 'adult' way. "Get away from that thing. You don't know what it's capable of!"
I got on top of Frost and just began petting him all over. He didn't seem to specifically enjoy it like a dog would, but he also didn't mind either - all I know - was that I loved every moment! I really want a slime... or a rabbear. Rabbears are so freakin cute and small.
I squealed into the fluffy whiteness with the adults all getting ready to attack. "Greg!! Get off that thing now!! We are eliminating it right here!!"
The pearly predator snorted releasing a heavy, bone-cold wind that made the students and staff have to brace themselves. "Trust me, this guy is really frickin strong. Anyway, if Frost wanted to kill me, he could've been done it."
A busty lady walked up with scarlet heels that clanked on the hard, tile and wore a black dress that you'd only see a model wear. But that's just what she is - no - she's a model's model, the epiphany of beauty and respect. The way she carried herself said she knew the effect she has on people.
"Hmm," Her arms crossed as she stopped, smiling slightly at the chaotic scene. "Looks like you've been up to no good again, huh, Gregory?" Imma be honest, I had no idea if her seductive tone was on purpose or not, but it had be dumbfounded on what to say next.
"Principal Samalta! You surely can't be joking around with him! He brought a giant monster and we can't deal with it!" The staff were still shuddering while other students were looking apprehensive. That's when, a soft, lone hand reached out.
The body it was attached to trembled and halted for a short moment before contact with the furry mass. "Woah! It's so soft - like silk!" Caroline yelled.
"Yeah, I know right!?" I almost squealed the next thing, "It's amazing!"
"See, Mr. Torrent? It seems that it's safe enough. And, anyway, I already called the Royal Ornamentals. Though I do have to ask, Greg," Her stern time flipped to a more smooth and interested one, "how did you manage to tame it? It's a Rank 4 beast. You should only be able to take on a Knight: a Rank 2."
Whisper of surprise began to flow from the crowd of students. "Wow, Greg, I knew you were pretty strong, but not Rank 2 strong!"
"Well, I'm a bundle of surprises." I puffed out my chest in pride and relished in the attention - that is - before a white tail lashed at my face. I could tell there was a snickering dog underneath that unchanging exterior.
"Aww, it's playful too!" The principle hopped closer and gave Frost a giant hug.
"I named him Frost, Mrs. Samalta."
"You gave it a name!?" I thought I said something terribly wrong from her reaction. "Oh, sorry, sweetie. It's fine, just thinking..." I don't know what she was 'thinking' about, but it seemed important.

Yesterday, I had to find a way to keep Frost with me, but he's just so huge, he couldn't walk freely in the school. Frost said that he didn't want to stay confined anyway and to use the 'doll' to 'summon' him. I tried stoping him, but he rushed out into the melting snow.
I don't exactly know how to summon him. What does that even mean? To like, teleport him to me? Either way, I was excited for another field trip into the monster forest today. It wasn't postponed since all the snow unnaturally disappeared.
Now that I know how to tame monsters, his is going to be the most fun ever!
I could tell from the corner of my eye that the idiot, Lawrence, was glaring at me with malice. I hope he won't try anything stupid... Who the heck am I kidding!? Someone with no brain cells can only do stupid things.
"Okay, don't push. Get on the bus quickly and quietly." Mr. Torrent's hand had to keep his hair from blowing in his eyes as he looked down at a list of student names and pictures.
Most of the students were seniors, like me, or freshmen. It was great reminiscing on my times then, though, I hated how I had to deal with a bunch of different strangers. I didn't like any of those families, but luckily, I can live by myself now...
