Chapter 4 - The Lands of Many

The school i was going to be attending was called Orantae high in the city of Tareev.

I was late for school so i had to wait till second period ended to go to class. For third period i had modern history, I walked into class with nothing but a textbook and my schedule to show that i wasn't lost. The teacher's name was Olivia Brown, she wore a strange mask that covered her mouth but not her nose.

"whats with the mask?" i accidentally muttered.

"what was that?" she quickly answered with an aggravated look on her face.

"Oh, what class is this?" I responded.

She asked for my schedule and told me to sit it the back before starting her lecture.

"The continent of Essterrac was one of three large land masses around the world. Each of these lands were ruled by a different type of government, first was the Continent of Fideiram which was ruled by religion. There was a governing system in place that made so a different religious group would lead the nation each year. In Fideiram there was a city that completely prohibited any and all religous activity. The city was called CMP which stood for Continental Military Police they were in charge of handling any and all religous wars that would break out in the land. As a result there hadn't been a war that lasted longer than 24 hours before the CMP would intervene and force peace treaties and armistice agreements.

They never revealed tactics nor was there ever live or recorded footage of them in action. The only reason the CMP was known by the mass majority of Fideiram was because everytime a war was stopped they would publicly sign the documents over live broadcasts with a representative present to mediate.

Although Fideiram was the most peaceful of the three lands, they were also the most secretive about their government and internal conflicts.

The second of the three lands was The Tudiepun Continent. Tudiepun of the three lands was most known for it's beautiful scenery along with its ancient architectures. Many famous archaeologist and scientists alike resided in the land due to its many ancient ruins. Of the three land masses. The governing system in the land was very unique because of the small number of populated urban areas. Each individual city in the land was governed by its own set if laws and authority figures under the condition that had became "the basic law of the land" as some called it, if there ever sparked a conflict between the cities they would all come together in a conference to discuss before acting on the matters. If ever this law were broken then the cities not involved would intervene in the conflict and leaders from the cities involved would be executed.

Tudiepun was the most lawless of the three lands to any and all outsiders but due to there not being many urban areas it was still the most beloved by tourists. Suburban areas earned the most money in the land and used it to gain support from the Major cities as a result there were never conflicts over tourist locations. Each major city supported at least one suburban location so there was never an issue of monopolization.

Lastly of the three lands there was the Continent of Essterrac best know by the other lands for its military might. Unlike Fideiram which had a new leader each year or Tudiepun with its many different governments Essterrac was lead by a military organization known as The National Talent Association. The NTA were known on a global scale as well, they had many headquarters set up throughout all three land masses. There were many underground organizations that tried to rival The NTA, these small groups were commonly referred to as ANAT syndicates. These syndicates were mostly comprised of Anti NTA extremists but others were formed for the sole purpose of taking control of Essterrac. This land of the three was the most feared and the most respected. Most citizens were unfazed by the fact that their homeland was at constant war with itself but the reason for that was Essterrac was the wealthiest of the three lands. Whenever there was a conflict that caused a family to lose a loved one they were always greatly compensated, no matter the reason without fail they always got their check along with a government issued apology notice. Shopping centers were the most competitive businesses in Essterrac so shopping became the next best thing most families would just waste all their newly obtained currency at the nearest store so everyone was happy.

Essterrac had several major cities along with small countryside areas and even some desert areas-," as she was about to continue i heard the other students closing textbooks.

"I guess im not the only one who thought that was boring," i muttered as the bell rang for the end of third period.

I already hate school !!!
