MARGAUX
"Are you sure about this, Rose?" It was already the nth time that Kevin had asked me the same question since the call with Mary had come to an end.
Partly it was annoying and partly it was also cute.
We were sitting out in the park. It was the same park where Suzue had found me.
People were, as usual, busy with their own business. The skies were clear and stars shone brightly above us.
I slipped my arms around him, resting my head on Kevin's shoulders, interlocking our fingers.
"Mary is my best friend. I'm one hundred percent positive. Though, of course, something happening in between would be inevitable. But, I'll worry about that when it actually happens."
Kevin chuckled, squeezing my hand.
"Alright, if you say so. I trust you. I'll be there to make sure nothing happens though. I could trust Mary, but not Takahashi Ryuji."
"Never, ever trust him. That's rule number one."
