MARGAUX
The sound of the gun going off echoed in the dead silence of our surroundings.
I opened my eyes and glared at Paul. At the last minute, I pulled my hand free from his hold and fired the one and only bullet I had placed in the hand-gun away from his forehead.
"You think I will let you have an easy way out?" I scoffed. "Never."
I spat, turning to glare towards Suzue who managed to get back on her feet, a smug look on her face.
"For what it's worth, I'm sorry about your loss Margaux."
"Thanks but no thanks. And, oh by the way, forget about the proposal. My answer is no."
"Are you sure about that?" Suzue challenged.
I smiled.
"One hundred percent." I assured her, flipping my hair and walking away. "You said you were good at cleaning up someone else's mess, enjoy cleaning then. See you never."
I smirked, my head held high.
