TAKAHASHI
The red wine I was holding in a champagne flute was no longer appealing to me. I watch with curiosity how Hanabi was faring with the cold and if she has regrets for what she had done. I sat on a stool, the dark room made me see her silhouette crouched in the corner of the room.
Reflected on the windows that are present inside the small space was the moon's little ray of light. It provided a tad bit of light inside. Other than the cold tiles and the bare walls, there was nothing to be seen inside the room. It was intended to be as empty as it was.
"Did you see what you made me do to you Hanabi?"
I listened but after a few minutes of deafening silence, I knew that she was not going to respond.
"Don't even think of betraying me the second time around. I might not be able to spare you as I did for this instance."
