KEVIN
"Ta-da!" I gestured with my hands. It wasn't a grand apartment, nor was it pricey, but it was enough for my needs as I had deemed it to be.
It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. A small kitchen with enough materials so I could cook and also eat.
The living room was cozy enough for four people, so it was my kind of apartment. One that wasn't big enough for me and not so small that I can't have people coming over.
I don't know how Margaux would see this, but I didn't expect we'd be making up this early.
Admittedly, I was always waiting for it to happen. I sounded like an idiot, I know. I could have made it happen, but there I was, waiting for some magic.
I'm such a coward. I know that too.
My father would have reprimanded me for it.
But, everything still worked out in our favor. Margaux looked at me, then glanced at the place. A small smile was on her lips.
"This is such an upgrade."
