I didn't feel like going out tonight. But rather than stay inside the empty mansion, I dragged my lazy ass towards my car and headed for Rhythm. A glass of gin and tonic and some drunk guy hitting on me was better than laying on the bed and waiting for anything to happen.
I'd be lucky if the guy were cute. It would be funny if he weren't.
"If he was cute enough, I don't mind getting laid." I blew out a sigh, catching my reflection on the mirror.
"Let's get wild and drunk, Suzue," I chuckled, revving the engine to life.
These days, Paul had stopped lingering around me. He has been mia for the past few days, which had me thinking if there was something I needed to know or if Takahashi had just kept him busy.
I can't even deny that I don't miss his nagging. It was hellishly annoying, but I prefer him sticking his nose in my business for some reason. He was like the brother I never had—a boy version of Hitomi.
That would be funny.
