Haru Inaka was about to open his mouth and tell us more about Takahashi and his past. However, instead of the casual chit-chat which I was looking forward to, we ended up having to take cover and run for our lives.
Shameful as it was, with the sudden array of bullets raining towards us, there was no other way to escape but to run.
Making it back towards the car which Hanabi had brought with Haru Inaka having no choice but to come with us, we hit the road at full speed.
I expected cars to be chasing after us.
Surprisingly, it wasn't the case.
Yet, the question of how Takahashi Ryuji was able to locate us remained.
I wanted to point fingers towards Hanabi. However, I can't afford to do such a thing.
Besides, if it was her who betrayed us, she wouldn't be running for her life together with us. She could've stayed behind or even pointed the gun at me and my companions instead.
