SUZUE
I imagined birds chirping and a soft wind caressing my hair with the morning light happily dancing on my skin. The warm embrace it gave was such a bliss as I stood in the middle of an open field somewhere.
A flowery dress, my make-up doing just fine and very nice weather. One could say that it was the perfect day for a picnic or something close to it.
I actually have no idea why that image had flashed in my head. I suddenly missed my sister, Hitomi.
Maybe that was the reason.
She left for an early flight going back to her family in Europe. I'm sure the boys missed her so.
I blew out a sigh. She was right. It wasn't too late for me and her to build that best friend-sister kind of relationship.
However, did she really have to do that the day before she had to leave?
"Pfft," I threw the covers off of me. "Classic Hitomi."
