SHIRO
"P-please spare me."
The innocent woman's pleas and cries echoed in my ears. Slow-paced footsteps and the pitter-patter of the rain against the roof of an abandoned building in the unknown city.
Swirling the red wine in gentle motions, a tiny smirk had formed across my lips.
Legs crossed, I sat comfortably in the leather seat facing the window, which gave an unobstructed view of the night sky.
Stars twinkled as if saying that they are there, reminding me of the nights when I used to wish that I could stare at them as I am doing now.
A book in another hand. I briefly looked up and admired the beautiful scenery from my room.
Meeting Rose had somehow brightened my day. She did nothing in particular.
I find it a little cute that she cared about dressing up and looking the part for my sake.
