MARGAUX
The stars hang innocently above us, while Mary and I lie back in comfortable blankets and pillows set up at the back of Patrick's pick-up.
Earlier, we both received our driver's licenses. We've been waiting on it for a long while.
We worked hard to nail the test making sure that we only make it once but also promised not to give up if we fail.
Gratefully, our wish was granted and as part of celebrating, we took off on a nearby hill between our houses and bought some snacks and drinks to spend the night giggling and talking about nonsense things.
Another thing to be grateful for? The sky was perfect tonight. It was already forecasted that no rain will occur to disturb our beautiful view.
"Hmm," Mary began, her voice suddenly going on a higher pitch. "I have a serious question. You need to give me an honest answer."
"Pfft, when was I not honest with you?"
