My father scratched his head, looking at me with uncertainty.
"And what made you say that?" I stared at the grandfather clock standing near his wooden desk, the time was five pm. When it hit six-thirty, a cuckoo will come out of the tiny bird box situated under the clock itself.
That means it would be time for dinner.
It was Saturday night and while other kids are either at a sleepover or doing something fun, I was stuck inside my father's study, having a council with him as what he would call it.
While Friday nights are for family date nights, Saturday is time for dad's one-on-one session with us. This way, we would be able to talk to him about how our week has been and even confess anything we had done wrong.
