Fencing coming from the word defensa meant protection. In simpler terms, fencing can mean the same as the root word fence which stands as a protective barricade from outsiders.

Breathing through the mask covering my face, I dodged the upcoming attack from my opponent.

With the lightness in his steps, he appeared to be dancing, blocking and countering my attacks in almost the same phase as I was saving and reciprocating his attempts.

I sometimes do fencing with Suzue back in Europe. However, when I was about to ask her to come with me upon finding this place, she instantly shook her head and went back to sleep. 

For the entire day, she would probably be doing such.

Wanting to finally get rid of the mask from my face, before my opponent could bat an eye, I was able to have him unarmed, his sword landing on the floor missing him getting hit by it by a few inches.
