Following Sachiel's order, every dragon and mercenary at their disposal began to prepare for the ultimate attack.
Jade, Asia, Minerva, and the others weren't left out.
In the two days that followed, everyone was on board, reviewing plans, having meetings, and going through their plans repeatedly.
Similarly, due to Aramis and Astoria's powers, they easily found a mole amongst their ranks. Thankfully, the news about the day of the attack wasn't broadcast to most of their soldiers, only to Xander's council.
And they had intentionally used magic wards to block off outside communication. Anyone who tried to do otherwise would be caught.
Jade was glad her plan worked. Xander, on the other, wasted no time in putting the spies to their death. Any friend of Zane's was an enemy of theirs.
