Immediately, Jenny sensed the trigger was pulled with her dragon senses while she was trying to make out what it was, she pushed them to the side, causing them to fall on the ground with the chair as the bullet swept past the chair and made its mark on the wall.
Both of their eyes flew wide open at the narrow escape they had.
At the same time, Sky quickly pulled his hands back up and held onto her head as he helped them out and from the chair with more shooting flying past them.
Moving closer to the wall, he held her protectively to his body, she was his life, how could he let his mate get hurt.
"Get under the table," he ordered Jenny as he released her body, but still had his arms on her. "Wait for me." He pushed her a bit, reaching for his drawer to get his own gun.
"What are you doing?" Jenny asked, her own eyes going wide.
"What does it look like? I am going to shoot back."
